Though I've worked for some very large companies and non-profits, my freelance work often supports small businesses. One example: By Sophia & Co., a woman-owned event-planning business based in Connecticut. I provided writing and editing services to help them launch their website, as well as strategic advice on the overall structure of the site and the company brand.

In 2015 I worked as a freelance writer for Tap2, Inc., on the launch of younlocked (pronounced “you, unlocked”), an innovative personal tracking app that uses the lockscreen of your Android phone to help you collect data. I wrote copy for the younlocked website as well as brand language, Google Play store content, FAQs, and other promotional content to support the app’s beta launch in May 2015.

Innerscope Research

In 2014 I copyedited website content for Innerscope Research, a cutting-edge Boston-based market research company (now owned by Nielsen). I also wrote additional copy for Innerscope's site and worked with a graphic designer to create custom infographics like the one at left, which appears on the page about Innerscope's methodology.
